About The Founder |
|
Janet Lavender, is a visionary and entrepreneur who at one point in her life found herself unemployed and homeless. This single mother of a lovely son lived in a woman’s shelter for one year. During this time she faced many obstacles to become self-sufficient. The biggest was the fact that she did not have clothes for interviewing purposes. She eventually over-came her obstacles and became employed in the financial industry. Although she had landed a job that could have been considered her career job, she felt like she wanted to give something back to her community. She knew that God brought her through this very difficult time in her life, and from her trials and tribulations came an extraordinary idea. This idea would bring about the birth of Dress 4 Success.
